Karen E. Welsh

Karen E. (Hignett) Welsh , 80, of Church Hill Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, PA, died Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2022, at Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort, Chestnuthill Township.  She was the wife of John W. Welsh, Sr. since September , 1967.  Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Eleanor (Scheier) Hignett.

Karen was employed as a legal secretary and in the customer service department of Johnson and Johnson Corp., New Brunswick, NJ.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

Survivors: Husband.  Sons, John W., Jr. and wife Mary Beth Welsh of Slatington, and Jeff Welsh of Pottstown.  1 granddaughter, Katelyn.
