Katherine J. Bowman

Katherine J. Bowman , 79 of Bowmanstown, PA passed away on January 14, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital - Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

Born July 8, 1944 in Little Rock, AR, Katherine was the daughter of the late Edward Rose and the late Christine (Lockner) Rose. She was the wife of Robert Bowman, with whom she shared many loving years with.

She was formerly employed by Scotty's Fashion, Palmerton, PA as a garment worker before retiring in 2006.

Katherine enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family, and lunch with the girls. She will be missed dearly.

Surviving along with husband Robert are daughters, Jennifer Sterner of Bowmanstown, PA, Michele Bennyhoff of Bowmanstown, PA and Ruthie Hochberg of Lehighton, PA. Son in law, Jeffrey Sterner of Palmerton, PA. Grand daughters Elizabeth Sterner, Madelyn Bennyhoff, and 2 siblings. She was preceded in death by 6 siblings.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Bowmanstown Fire Co. 259 Lime St, Bowmanstown, PA 18030.

Memorial contributions may be made for granddaughters, Elizabeth and Madelyn's college fund.
