Kathleen Ann Althouse

Kathleen Ann (Nemecek) Althouse , 77, of Rainsville, AL, formerly of Palmerton, PA, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in Huntsville, AL.  She was the wife of the late Bruce Althouse, who passed this last March.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Molnar) Nemecek.

Kathleen was employed as an executive secretary for many years.   She was a 1965 graduate of the SS Palmer High School, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.

Survivors: Sons, John M. and wife Katie of Rainsville, AL, and David M. and wife Sandra of Indianapolis, IN.  Granddaughter, Jessica wife of Joseph Hipp.  2 Great-grandchildren, Eloise and Amos.  Brother, James and wife Barbara Nemecek of Sellersville.  Niece, Donna.  She was predeceased by sister, Susan Silliman, and an infant brother, Stephen in 1950.

Services: 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2024, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday in the funeral home.  Interment, Sacred Heart Church Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
