Kathleen L. Berlin

Kathleen L. (Savitz) Berlin , 85, of Indian Hill Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, PA, died peacefully, Good Friday evening, April 15, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Richard E. Berlin who passed in 2015.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Savitz and Catherine (Wright) Savitz-Blose.

Kathleen was employed as a seamstress by the former Hofford's Mill, Weissport.  She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church E. Weissport and the I.L.G.W.U.  Kathleen enjoyed volunteering with the Rangers at Beltzville State Park, Lehighton, and helping with the Whitewater Rafting, Penn Forest Twp.

Survivors: Daughters, Sharon wife of David Leiby, Lynn wife of Maurice McFarland, all of E. Penn Twp.  Sons, John H., Jr. and wife Patricia Knittle of Kunkletown, and Peter J. and wife Pam Knittle of Sacramento, CA. 8 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Janice wife of Ronald Hemerly of Jim Thorpe, Brenda Drumheller of Waynesboro, Franklin County, Joanne wife Charles Finney of Reading, and Loretta Wilmont of Whitehall.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Blaine Blose, and Terry Blose.
