Kathleen E. Hodes, 90 of Schnecksville, PA, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, of Northampton, PA. Born June 2, 1936 in Palmerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold Henning and the late Catherine (Silliman) Henning. Kathleen was the wife of Robert Hodes, with whom she shared 52 years of loving marriage with before his passing in 2012.

After graduating high school, she attended and graduated from Allentown Business School. Katheleen went to work for Tama Manufacturing as a floor girl for a few years before transitioning to Scotty Fashions, where she worked as a seamstress for 20 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church, and always looked forward to attending Bible Study. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her husband Robert roller skating, and cherished her time outside working in the yard and garden.

Surviving are daughter, Dawn E. Hodes of Schnecksville, PA, grandchildren Michelle Herr and husband Casey of CO., and Jesse Gruber of Long Pond, PA., brother, Terry Henning of Walnutport, PA, and sister, Gloria Searfoss and husband Walter of Schnecksville, She was predeceased by daughter, Lisha Gruber.

A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday July 20, 2026, at Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, 18067. The family invites relatives and friends to gather from 12:00-Noon up until the time of service. Interment will follow at Danielsville Union Cemetery, Danielsville, PA.
