Kathleen A. Munch-Gschwind, 62, of Lehighton, PA, formerly of New York State, died suddenly early Monday morning, February 15, 2016, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Lehighton Campus. She was the wife of George E. Gschwind. Born in Jacksonville, FL, she was a daughter of the late George and Maryjane (Schneider) Munch.
Kathleen was employed by the Verizon Corporation, Peekskill, New York, as an operator, and directory assistant for over 20 years. She formerly attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Mahopac, New York. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, and caring for her dogs. She was a 1971 graduate of Mahopac High School.
Survivors: husband, George. Son, Emerson, C. and wife Corinne Cargain of Carmel, New York. Granddaughter, Mariah Lynn Cargain of Carmel, New York. Sisters, Jean Munch of New York, Susan wife of Curt Doerr of Wappingers Falls, NY. Brothers, Chris and wife Rachael of Mahopac, NY, Joseph of Carmel, NY. Nieces and nephews.
Services: At the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
