Kathleen R. Sayuk

Kathleen R. Sayuk , 90, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.  She was the wife of the late Andrew Sayuk, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage before his death in 2018.  Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Shuster) Scott.

Kathleen was a 1948 graduate of Slatington High School, where she was class valedictorian.  She went on to earn an Associate in Arts degree in Pre-Education from Lehigh County Community College in 1974.  A beloved mother and grandmother, she worked tirelessly as a homemaker and always put the family ahead of herself.

Survivors: Sons, Keith and fiancee Dawn of Harleysville, Mark and wife Svetlana of Reading, MA, and David and wife Sharon of Freehold, NJ.  Daughter-in-law, Nancy of TX.  3 grandsons, Matthew, Christopher, and Alexander.  Sister, Rosanne wife of Lou Achey.  Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Deceased son, Thomas, who passed on May 14, 2022.  She was predeceased by brother George Scott, Jr.
