Kathleen K. Smith

Kathleen K. Smith, 71 of Whitehall, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Born November 19, 1951 in Catasauqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Mammana and the late Gladys (Hawkey) Mammana. She was the wife of Richard L. Smith, Sr. with whom she shared 30 years of marriage last April 15, 2022.

Kathleen was last employed as a machine operator for the Alpo/Nestle-Purina Corp., Allentown, PA for 12 years before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time with her family.

Surviving along with her husband Richard are, daughter, Annette and husband Jim Schrantz of Schnecksville, PA, step-son, Richard L. Smith, Jr. and wife Jenny of Macungie, PA, step-daughter, Laurie Hutterer of Walnutport, PA, sisters, Faye Mammana of Allentown, PA and Ray wife of Douglas Koren of Allentown, PA. 5 Grandchildren, a niece and two nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Virginia Sommers, Constance Mammana, and Ellen Bloom.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery, Whitehall, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
