Kathryn M. Gum

Kathryn M. Gum , 95, of Easton, passed away on Saturday,  September 30, 2023, at Easton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Easton. Born March 18, 1928, in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Spencer P. and Mary Y. (Price) Sharkey and wife of the late John E. Gum.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Easton, and worked for the former Magnetic Windings Co., Easton, for twenty years before retiring.

She is survived by her son, John P. Gum of Upper Nazareth Township, granddaughters, Melinda C. Gum, wife of Patrick I. Cunningham of Lower Nazareth Township and Lora L. Gum of Upper Nazareth Township. She was predeceased by daughter, Carol A. Daneels, brothers, James L. Sharkey, Robert F. Sharkey and Phillip S. Sharkey.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the church, in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
