Kay J. Heaps, 76 of Catasauqua, PA died on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at her residence in Catasauqua. Born May 12, 1942 in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Derr and the late Ethel L.I. (Abbott) Derr. She was the wife of Mitchell D. Heaps.
Kay last worked in housekeeping for Valley Manor Nursing and Rehab Center, Coopersburg, PA for 5 years before retiring in 1992.
Surviving along with her husband Mitchell are daughters, Barbara, wife of William Roxberry of Allentown, Beverly Schellhammer of Montana, brother, Richard Derr of Coopersburg, 4 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
