Kenneth H Jones, Sr.

Kenneth H. Jones, Sr ., 77 of Northampton, PA, formerly of Liberty PA, Tiago County, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Born August 23, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd Jones and the late Bernice (Rakauskas) Jones.

Ken served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Afterward, he went to work with Bethlehem Steel.  He worked his way up to Shop Steward in his 30 years of service there. Ken then moved to Maryland to continue his career in the Steel Industry with Mittal Steel, again as a Shop Steward.  He worked for another 10 years, before finally retiring in 2013. In his early years, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. More recently, Ken really loved to play multiple video games on his PS5, often gaming all throughout the day.

Survivors: sons, Kenneth H. Jones, Jr. and wife Linda of Hershey, PA and Christopher Jones and wife Stephanie of Reading, PA, daughter, Sherie Burke and husband David of Northampton, PA, 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, brothers, Duane Jones of SD, and Fess Jones of Philadelphia, PA, sisters, Donna Baker and husband Carl of WV, and Kathy Jameson of Quakertown, PA

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with his care and service.
