Kenneth E. Mack , 93, formerly of Franklin Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Saturday morning, November 5, 2022, at Bush's Personal Care Home, Kunkletown, Eldred Twp. He was the husband of the late Jeanne E. (Siegmund) Mack who passed in 1971. Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Francis and Erna (Roberts) Mack.
Kenneth was employed in the maintenance dept. of the Palmerton Area School District. Later, he worked in the same capacity for the former Segal's by the Bridge Dept. Store, Palmerton, and Shea's Hardware, Palmerton. Kenneth also worked at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. On the side, he enjoyed helping many people and businesses in the greater Palmerton area with electrical and handyman work. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Palmerton, and the American Legion Post #314, Palmerton. An army veteran of Korea, he achieved the rank of CPL.
Survivors: Sons, Garry A. and wife Janice, and Bruce D. 4 grandchildren, Janine Schmoyer, Teri Polischak, Jeanna Mack, and Shawn Mack. 6 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Damien, Mackendra, Emma, Ella, and Reagan. Sisters, Mae Vogel, Nancy Mack, and Betty wife of Richard Bobal. Brothers, Arnold, Mark and wife Beverly. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Grace Roth, Anna Werley, Erma Feinour, and brothers, Ray, and Donald.
Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and 10-11:00 a.m., Thursday in the funeral home.
