Kermit W. Kunkle, Jr.

Kermit W. Kunkle, Jr., 89 of Treichlers, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living,
Northampton.

Born March 25, 1932 in Coplay, he was the son of the late Kermit W.and Sarah (Heller) Kunkle. He and his wife Joan
C. (Proctor) Kunkle were married on June 22, 1957.
He was a chemist for the Coplay Cement Company for many years before retiring and honorably served in the US
Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Lori A. Fontoura-Kunkle of Treichlers and Karen L. wife of
David Spier of Annapolis, MD, brother, Glenn Kunkle of Ohio, sisters, Lola Spangler of Northampton, and Brenda
Schaffer of Bath, and grandchildren, Chad, Ian, Matthew, Brooke, Julianna, Brittany, and William and five great
grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Schisler
Funeral Home, Northampton.
