Kerry L. Bowman

Kerry Lee Bowman, 71 of Lehighton, PA, passed away on March 12, 2023, at his residence. Born July 12, 1951 in Bowmanstown, PA, he was the son of the late Richard W. Bowman and the late Phyllis (Costenbader) Bowman. He was the husband of Melani (Borger) Bowman, with whom he shared 53 years of loving marriage.

Kerry was a graduate of Lehighton High School, Class of '69. and was employed by United Parcel Service as a parcel sorter for 36 years. In his free time away from work he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a member at the former Dynamite Hollow Rangers Gun Club. Kerry loved to spend his Sundays either at or watching NASCAR races.

Surviving along with his wife, are daughters, Lisa Bowman and Pamala Bowman, both of Lehighton, PA, Grandsons Zachary Bowman and Tanner Horn, both of Lehighton PA, and multiple nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Richard K. Bowman, and sisters, Gwen Jones, and Susan Bowman.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00AM on March 23, 2023, at Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dinkey Road, Ashfield, PA. Miller Funeral Home has been entrusted with his services and care.
