Kevin J. Wackley , 67, of Debby Court, Danielsville, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Thursday morning, March 30, 2017, at his home.  He was the husband of Ruth Ann (Gerstenberg) Wackley since June 16, 1973.  Born in Freeland, Luzerne County, he was a son of the late Henry A., Sr. and Gladys M. (Kleckner) Wackley.

Kevin was employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation as a welder and security patrol officer.  Later he worked as a Police Officer for the Borough of Catasauqua.  He attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.  Kevin was a 1961 graduate of the Catasauqua High School, and served his country honorably in the Marine Corps, Vietnam Era, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal.  He was a member of Greenleaf Lodge No. 561, F. & A.M., Allentown, a member and treasurer of Leathernecks Nation MC, Belleauwood Chapter, Lehigh Valley, and a member of the VFW Fullerton Post, Whitehall Township.  Kevin was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Andreas Sporting Club, Schuylkill County.

Survivors: Wife, Ruth Ann.  Daughters, Jolene C. Gerstenberg of Slatington, Megan A. wife of Christopher Blackwell of Danielsville, Specialist Alisha M. Wackley, US Army of Fort Lewis, Washington, Jaclyn N. Wackley, Mariah L. Wackley, Jada M. Wackley, all at home.  Sons, Cpl. Ian J. Wackley, US Marine Corps, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Ethan J. Wackley at home.  7 grandchildren, Alexis, Victoria, Caylyne, Vanessa, Brenden, Liam, and Grayson.  Sisters, Jeanne wife of Joseph Gazick of Dunellen, New Jersey, Elaine Chapman of Coplay, Bernadette wife of William Hummelhantz of Pennsville.  Brothers, Quentin and wife Dolores of Hazle Township, Regis and wife Linda of Whitehall.  Many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, and Henry Jr.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2017, and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home.  Masonic Services, 8:15 p.m., Tuesday.  Interment with Military Honors will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Hanover Township.
