Kim E. Michael

Kim E. (Rehrig) Michael , 63, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, in her home.  She was the wife of Kenneth E. Michael, Jr., since December 18, 1982.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter to the late Elaine M. (Lear) Rehrig.

Kim was employed as a cafeteria worker/aide for the Lehighton High School.  Later, she worked as a receptionist for Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  A 1980 graduate of the Lehighton High School, she then continued her education at Lehigh-Carbon Community College, Schnecksville.  Kim enjoyed baking, playing bingo, camping, spending time at the beach, being with family, and caring for the family dogs.

Survivors: Husband.  Daughter, Kristine E. wife of Michael Oswald of Emmaus.  Grandson, Nathan.  Sisters, Denise E. wife of Scott Koder of Lehighton, and Dorene E. wife of Brian Green of Live Oak, FL.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Keith Rehrig in 2013.

Services: Tuesday, October 7, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., in the funeral home.  Interment, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Allentown.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
