Larry E. Rodgers

Larry E. Rodgers, 69, of Edgemont Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died suddenly early Thursday morning, October 15, 2026, at his residence. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Lester E. and Myrtle P. (Hartranft) Rodgers.

Larry was co-owner and operator of the former Rodgers Service Station, Hazard Road, Palmerton, for many years. Later, he was employed by the Allied Sand Quarry, Palmerton, Stengel Brothers Suspension, Allentown, and Zimmerman's Dairy, Lehighton. Larry enjoyed collecting and restoring classic automobiles. He was a 1975 graduate of the Palmerton High School.

Survivors: Sisters, Jean I. wife of Daniel J. Gruber of Saylorsburg, and Faye wife of William Schiesser of Endicott, NY. 2 nieces. 1 nephew. 1 great-niece.
