Larry A. Stettler, 73 of Montgomery, PA formerly of Kreidersville, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Born on February 17, 1945 in Kreidersville, PA, he was the son of the late Ray Stettler and the late Ruth (Edelman) Stettler.
Larry was employed by the former NJ Zinc West Plant in Palmerton where he worked for many years as a forklift operator. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing. He attended First United Methodist Church in Montgomery, PA.
Surviving are son, Blaine D. Stettler and wife Janet of Montoursville, PA, daughters, Tammy S. wife of Phil St. James of Montgomery, PA and Tara A. wife of Joseph Fehnel of Catasauqua, PA, sisters, Janet Dietrich of Reading, PA and Barbara wife of Melvin Ruth of Danielsville, PA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Ray Stettler, Jr. and grandson, Michael A. Fehnel.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
