Larry R. Wanamaker

Larry R. "Stretch" Wanamaker, 64, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019.  Born March 16, 1955, in Lehighton, he was the son of the late Clarence C. and Elaine M. (Roth) Wanamaker.  He and his wife Evelyn H. (Yergey) Wanamaker were married on April 20, 2002.

He worked for David P. Jones Builders, Palmerton for 35 years before retiring.  He enjoyed volunteering at various race tracks, including being a flagman.  He was also an avid bowler.

Survivors: Wife, Evelyn.  Stepson, Edwy B. Shupp, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Walnutport.  Grandson, Holden Shupp.  Brothers, Richard Wanamaker and his wife Peggy of Indiana, and David Wanamaker of Palmerton.  Sisters, Linda Card and fiancé Robert Anthony of Palmerton, Mary Hunter of Palmerton, and Doris Wanamaker of Palmerton.

Services: The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:30 p.m., Memorial Service, all on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania 18071.
