LaRue G. Bucchi - Kahler, 87 of Nazareth, PA. died Monday, August 15, 2016, at Moravian Hall Square Retirement
Community in Nazareth, PA. Born December 21, 1928 in Nazareth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dewey
Arndt and the late Hilda (Bartholomew) Arndt - Heil. She was the wife of Roslyn M. Kahler with whom she shared 16
years of marriage this past January 15, 2016. She was also the wife of the late William R. Bucchi, Sr. who passed
away in 1988.
LaRue was a 1946 graduate of Nazareth High School who enjoyed cheerleading during her high school years. She
went on to work for the former Nazareth Pharmacy as a pharmaceutical clerk for 31 years before retiring in 1999.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth. LaRue and Roslyn enjoyed wintering in
Boynton Beach.
Surviving along with her husband Roslyn are; daughter, Donna L. wife of Harrison Bauman of Nazareth, PA; son,
William R. Bucci, Jr. and wife Irena of Oak Hill, VA; 4 Grandchildren; Allison Frable, Julie Batenburg, Anthony and
Nicholas Bucci; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Dawson and Evan Frable, and Caroline Batenburg; 3 Step-Children; Jeffrey
and wife Rose Kahler, Julie wife of Jed Flick, and Jed Kahler, all of Bushkill Twsp., PA; 8- Step-Grandchildren; Joy,
Jason, Adam, Aaron, Jessica, Amy, Abby, and Amelia; 9 - Step-Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a
brother, Henry Arndt, 2 sisters, Bernice "Dolly" Hommer, and Valeria Arnold.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday August 22, 2016 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211
E. Center Street Nazareth, PA. 18064 with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer officiating. The family will receive friends
from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth, PA.
