Larue K. Roth

LaRue K. Roth, 82 of Allentown, died on February 24, 2017, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. Born on December 20, 1934 in Nazareth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leo Q. and Dorothy (Grube) Frantz. She was employed by National Cash Register as a dispatcher for over 20 years. After that she worked at Harrison Morton Middle School in Allentown in the cafeteria for 18 years. LaRue enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kreidersville.

Surviving include her daughter, Michele McLaughlin of Allentown, PA, sister, Jean S, Gogel and her late husband Harold F. Gogel, Jr. of Nazareth, PA; 2 granddaughters, Alana Roth and Madison McLaughlin; 2 nieces, Stephanie Werner and Claire Quire; 2 nephews, Eric Roth and Keith Gogel. She was predeceased by sister, Darlene F. Frantz Roth.

A Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Inc. located at 211 E. Center St., Nazareth, PA 18064 with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
