Laura A. Alfano

Laura A. (Ray) Alfano, 52, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died suddenly late Monday evening, November 20, 2017, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Palmerton Campus.  She was the wife of Gerard W. Alfano since February 15 1986.  Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Ann Marie Ray.

Laura was employed in retail sales for the former Bamberger's Department Store, Newark, New Jersey.  She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.  Laura attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.  She was a very selfless person, who cared for others rather than for herself.

Survivors: Husband, Gerard.  Daughter, Janelle A. Alfano of Alburtis.  Son, Gerard J. "Elvis" Alfano of Palmerton.  Beloved dogs, Zoom, and Turbo.
