Lauren L. Lacesa

Lauren L. LaCesa, 23 of Macungie, PA. passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Born July 2, 1997 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph La Cesa and Sherry L. (Melichar) wife of Daniel Devine of North Whitehall, PA.

Lauren was employed as a Member Experience Associate for the 1st Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, Trexlertown, PA for the past 2 1/2 years. A 2015 graduate of Parkland High School, she furthered her studies earning an Associate degree in General Studies from Shippensburg University and Lehigh County Community College. She was a member of her high school and college Orchestra where she played violin. Lauren loved soccer and was a member of the Parkland Area Soccer League for many years, as well as enjoying skiing. She was an avid cook and loved travelling to Naples, FL. She was a Girl Scout at the Neffs Church Troop, and volunteered her time at Forgotten Felines, Germansville, PA for many years.

Surviving along with her mother and step-father are brother, Carter K. LaCesa of Macungie, PA, twin brother, Nicholas J. LaCesa of Slatington , PA, maternal grandmother , Libbie Melichar of Indian Head Park, IL, paternal grandparents, Mr & Mrs. James LaCesa of Barrington, IL, along with two Aunts, an uncle and many cousins. Her beloved cat, Pepper was the joy of her life. She was predeceased by her father Joseph and grandfather George Melichar.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA., 18067 with the Rev. Dr. Bruce C. Stevenson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, and Wed. July 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the services, both at the funeral home.

Lauren will be interred with her father at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
