Lawrence P. Nemeth

Lawrence P. "Larry" Nemeth , 60 of Northampton, PA, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at his home. Born February 12, 1963, he was the son of the late Joseph R. Nemeth and the late Barbara A. (O'Connor) Nemeth. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Kime) Nemeth with whom he shared 32 years of marriage this past June 1, 2023.

Larry was a 1981 graduate of Northampton High school who continued his education and earned a bachelors degree in Business marketing from DeSales University, Center Valley, PA. Larry was a self-employed Lease Financier for the past 10+ years,  He was a life long member and Lector for Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton, PA. He was an avid bass fisherman who spent many hours with his canine companions in his boat enjoying the outdoors. He enjoyed playing the game of Chess and was nationally ranked. Larry more recently, joined the American Legion Post #353, Northampton Billiards League and spent many hours honing his skills.

Surviving along with his wife Kathleen are daughters, Larysa K. Morrow wife of Joshua of Milledgeville, GA, Katie L. Nemeth of Northampton, PA, sister, Veronica Nemeth wife of Jeff Williams of Ooltewah, TN, brother, ret CAPT Eugene Nemeth and wife Jenelle of Richland, WA, a niece and two nephews, and his canine companions Leia, Nestor, and Darwin.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2181 Washington Avenue,  Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067 and 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Wed. 11/22/23 in the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Contributions; May be made to Assump. B.V.M. R.C. Church Memorial fund or the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, Easton, PA both c/o the funeral home.
