Leah M. Hawkins

Leah M. Hawkins , 68 of Bethlehem, PA formerly of Staten Island, NY passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at her daughter's residence in Bethlehem, PA. Born December 18, 1954 in S. Jamaica - Queens, NY. She was the daughter of the late Virginia M. (Barrett)  Dowden.

Leah was last employed as a Dietician for a Nursing Home in NY for 7 years before retiring in 1995.

Survivors: Surviving are daughter, Tracy A. Barrett with whom she resided, son, Michael T. Barrett of Woodhaven, NY, brother, Derrick Dowding of Oakland, CA, sister, Sheila Ramsey of Rockaway Park, NY; 7 grandchildren; Shahiem, Sr., Amani, Zaire, twins Sharif and Sharifah, Reina, and Niko. 3 great grandchildren; Kay'lani, Amir, and Shahiem, Jr., along with 3 nephews and 7 nieces.

Services: Will be private and at the convenience of the family.
