Lee E. Hummel, Jr.

Lee E. Hummel, Jr., 67 of Slatington, PA passed away on October 17, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Born February 9, 1955 at Ft. Hood Military Base, TX, he was the son of the late Lee Hummel Sr. and the late Cecelia (Gender) Hummel. He was the husband of Jane (Keiper) Hummel, with whom he has shared 50 years of loving marriage.

Lee was employed by MS Perlman as a trucker for over 50 years, retiring in 2014. In his free time he was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Surviving along with his wife, daughter, Katrina Remaley and husband Jayson, son, Lee Hummel, III, sisters, Cindy Hummel, and Debbie husband Daniel Rodgers, brothers, John Hummel and wife Sheila, Tony Hummel, and Richard Hummel, grandchildren Kyle Hummel, Wyatt and Phalon Person, great grandchild Kayden Hummel.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with his care and services.
