Leon L. "Bupper" Haydt, 67 of Danielsville, PA, died on Friday, August 14, 2020, at his residence. Born August 9, 1953 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late Leon M. and Pauline G. (Rehrig) Haydt. He was the husband of Maryann (Silfies) Haydt.

Leon was last employed by Leonard Silfies Construction, Walnutport, PA, as a laborer for several years. He served his country during peace time as a FN in the U.S.N.R. before being discharged in 1978. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving along with his wife Maryann are sons, Leon F. & wife Tammy Haydt of Walnutport, PA, Brian Haydt of Walnutport, PA, Steven Haydt of Walnutport, PA and John Haydt of Walnutport, PA, sisters, Linda wife of Richard Siekonic of Northampton, PA, Susan J. Haydt of Danielsville, PA and Maryann wife of Terry Edelman of Danielsville, brother, Barry A. Haydt of Danielsville, PA, 6 - grandchildren.

A Graveside service with Military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 19, 2020 at Jerusalem
Lutheran Cemetery - Trachsville, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA. is in charge of arrangements.
