Leroy T. Green

LeRoy T. Green , 86, of Byron Road, Kunkletown, Eldred Twp., PA, died peacefully Wednesday evening, December 13, 2023, in his home.  He was the husband of the late Louise A. (Snyder) Green who passed in 2020.  Born in Eldred Twp., he was a son of the late Byron and Arlene (Smith) Green.

LeRoy was employed by PPL Electric Utilities Corp., Martins Creek.  A life-long former, he also enjoyed working his sawmill, and lumbering.  LeRoy served in the Navy, beginning of the Vietnam Era, serving as an aircraft mechanic and achieving rank of AMH3.  LeRoy enjoyed working in his woodshop, building all types of furniture, especially roll top desks.

Survivors: Daughter, Carol A. wife of Dwane Rahaley of Saylorsburg.  Sons, Roy T. and wife Bianca of Lehighton, and Lee H. of Dotter's Corner.  6 grandchildren. 1 great-grandchild.  Sisters, Virginia Kolek of Parryville, Alena Zettlemoyer of Kunkletown, Clara wife of Glen Kichline of Danielsville, Christine Yost of WV, and Cindy wife of David George of Trachsville.  Brothers, Delbert and wife Patsy of New Ringgold, and Curtis and wife Nancy of Kunkletown.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Cousins.  He was predeceased by brother, Meril.
