Lillian H. "Dolly" Hrusovsky

Lillian H. Hrusovsky, 81, of Allentown, formerly of Northampton and Palmerton, PA, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg Campus, in Bethlehem, PA. Born on September 1, 1935 in Lehighton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kirby and Helen (Zellner) Channing. She was the wife of the late Teofil W. "Bill" Hrusovsky.

She was last employed as a retail clerk for Kmart and the SuperFresh Market, both of Walnutport for 7 years, before retiring in 1992. Prior to that she worked for the former AT&T, Allentown, for 7 years, in the clean room as an inspector. Before that, she had many years in the garment industry throughout the greater Lehigh Valley. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Palmerton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who took an active interest in her children's and family activities.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol A. and husband John Daniels of Emmaus, PA; sons, Kirby C. Hrusovsky and wife Maria of Lakeland, FL, William P. Hrusovsky and wife Cheryl of Catasauqua, PA, Richard C. Hrusovsky and wife Mary of Palmerton, PA, James E. Hrusovsky and wife Theresa of Mount Joy, PA, and Thomas J. Hrusovsky of Lehighton, PA. Sisters, Mrs. Esther Althouse of Lehighton, PA, Mrs. Ardith Kurdilla of Andreas, PA, and Sharon and her husband Ron Hartwig of Winter Haven, FL. 17 grandchildren: Maritza, Kirby, Peter, Kristin, Crystal, Nicole, Maya, Richie, Tom, Mike, Devin, Ashlee, Brittaney, Jana, Shain, Cole, and Drew. 4 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Gideon, Ella, and Tommy. She was predeceased by a brother, Kirby Channing, and a sister, Wilma Gehres.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071, with the Rev. Virginia Heimer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will follow the memorial service, at the Towamensing Cemetery, Third Street and Fireline Road, Palmerton, PA.
