Lillian E. Jordan

Lillian E. (Johnson) Jordan , 86, of Franklin Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, April 14, 2022, in her home.  She was the wife of the late Anthony P. Jordan who passed in 2020.  Born in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Frank Johnson and Rose (DeMarco) Johnson-Handlong.

Lillian was employed as an LPN by the former Palmerton Hospital, for 36 years, retiring in 2005, where she was instrumental in establishing and operating the Candy Striper Program.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader for several years.

Survivors: Daughter Patricia wife of John Nemetch of Allentown.  Sons, Andrew P. and wife Cheryl of Palmerton, and Michael and wife Julie of Exton.  9 grandchildren.  5 great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Caroline Wagner of Orwigsburg, and Rose Ann wife of Robert Wiley of FL.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant sister, JoAnn, and a grandson, Michael Jordan.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial for both Lillian and her late husband, Anthony, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., in the church, prior to Mass.  Interment with Military Honors, Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
