Lillian Mary (Solt) Miller , 90, formerly of Lehighton, PA, departed this life on February 5, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Lehighton on September 2, 1932, the first of five children born to the late Harry and Mary (Miller) Solt, Sr. In her early years, she was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weissport, and later in life reconfirmed her faith by being rebaptized from the banks of the Lehigh River.

Survivors: Lillian is survived by daughter, Martina (Miller) wife of Christopher Hayward of Winston-Salem, NC; son, David Miller and grandsons Mark, and Joel Miller and fiancee Amanda Acabou, all of Lehighton; granddaughter, Jennifer Dapko of Lakeland, FL; grandson, R. Jason Dapko of Dallas, TX; sisters, Helen Smith and Lucille Andrews, both of Lehighton, as well as several nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat, Laci. A special thank you to Linda Lockhart, caregiver, for her loving compassion, overwhelming help and constant care.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, LeRoy Solt of Schnecksville and Harry Solt, Jr. of Lehighton.

Over the years, she enjoyed sewing, reading, singing barbershop with the Sweet Adelines, ballroom dancing, country gospel and classical music, collecting antique blue glass, painting sunsets and nature.

Lillian graduated from the Lehighton High School in 1950 and was employed for a few years at the Western Electric Corp., until she married the late Richard Miller and then assisted him in his funeral business on Union Hill for the next 25 years.  The Miller Funeral Home has now been entrusted with her funeral arrangements.

Services: Graveside Services will be at the Franklin Heights Memorial Park, E. Weissport, in Franklin Township, on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey officiating. Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
