Linda M. Diehl

Linda M. Diehl , 75 of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton, PA.  Born March 26, 1948 in Nazareth / Bushkill Twsp., PA, she was the daughter of the late William Hawk and the late Gladys (Bartholomew) Hawk. She was the wife of Donald D. Diehl, Jr. with whom she shared 39 years of marriage last October 28, 2022.

Linda was last employed by the Former Gino & Jack Sportswear, Bath-Moore Twsp, PA as a Seamstress-Hemmer for 12 years, before retiring. Prior to, she worked in the same capacity for the former Pioneer Sportswear, Stockertown, PA for many years before it's closing. Linda was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Klecknersville, PA; she was a long time member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Surviving along with her husband Donald are son, Thomas Smith(Judyanne) of Nazareth, PA, daughters, Deanna Weiss(Roger) of Nazareth, PA, Lori Simons(Alan) of Easton, PA and Kristina Daniels of Wind Gap, PA, brothers, Donald Hawk(Debbie) of Wind Gap, PA and Sheldon Hawk(Kim) of Nazareth, PA, sisters, Betty Gradwohl(Barry) of Nazareth, PA and Kathy Mann(Jack) of Easton, PA; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, William, Ronald, and Wayne Hawk, and sister, Florence Foyle.

Services: Family and  friends may call on Sunday, August 6th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St. Nazareth, PA 18064. A second calling will be held on  Monday, August 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with an 11:00 a.m. service at the funeral home with The Rev. Michael Netznik officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown, PA.
