Linda E. Kates

Linda E. Kates , 74, of Lehighton, PA, formerly of Cherryville, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Lehighton.  Born June 26, 1948 in Jamestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Verna (Dotter) Schlier, and wife of the late James R. Kates.

Linda was of the Lutheran Faith.

Survivors: Daughters, Natalie Savage of Bethlehem, Lora Gould of Lehighton, Pamela Kates of Lehighton, and Valarie Miller of Lehighton.  Nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by eight siblings.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service, all on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Online Condolences may be left at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
