Linda S. Mayers

Linda S. Mayers, 71 formerly of Northampton, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital - Upper Bucks Campus in Quakertown, PA.

Born March 19, 1949 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hilda (Roth) Fritzinger. She was the wife of the late David Mayers with whom she shared 34 years of marriage before his death in 2002.

Linda was a long-time member of Salem UCC, Catasauqua, PA. She was employed by JC Penney's for many years until her retirement in 2003.

Surviving are son, David M. Mayers and wife Carol of Allentown, PA, brother Robert Fritzinger of Allentown, PA, grandsons David, and Andrew, great-grand daughter Sophia. She was pre-deceased by grandson, Carl.

Services will be held privately at the family's convenience. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
