Lisa (Kern) Thierer,
54, of Diamond Street, Slatington, Pennsylvania, died Monday, December 18, 2017, at Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia. She was the wife of Anthony M. Thierer since March 31, 2007. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William Kern, Sr., and the late Irene (Deutsch) Kern-Buzinsky-Selvenis.
Lisa was employed for several years at various garment mills in the greater Slatington Region. She was a social member of the VFW Post #7215, Walnutport.
Survivors:
Husband, Anthony. Son, Stephen T. Marlatt of Slatington. Grandson, Jaden. Sisters, Marie Reph of Minot, ND, Cynthia Kern of Slatington, Crystal Kern with whom she resided and was cared for. Brothers, William J. and wife Diane, George and wife Leoma, all of Slatington, John and wife Judy of Allentown. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beloved golden retriever, Rascal. She was predeceased by step-father, Charles Buzinsky, sister, Roseanne Frable, and a brother, Robert.
