Lois E. Gum, 65, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away on
Friday, May 22, 2020
at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. Born
August 29, 1954
in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late William F. And Muriel A. (Kern) Karch. She and her husband John P. "Jack" Gum were married on
July 8, 1973
.
Lois was a lifetime member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Melinda C. wife of Patrick I. Cunningham of Lower Nazareth Township, and Lora L. Gum of Upper Nazareth Township, sister, Christine L. wife of John J. Muscler of Nazareth, nephew Nicolas R. Muscler of Nazareth, niece, Rachael A. Muscler of Nazareth, and mother-in-law, Kathryn M. Gum of Easton.
The family will receive friends from
6:00 PM
to
7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2020
at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home
211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064
. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask but the family requests that you wear casual clothing.
A funeral service will be private at at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marfan Foundation or the church, both in care of the funeral home.
