Lora L. Gould

Lora L. (Kates) Gould , 58, of Lehighton, PA, formerly of Cherryville, passed away suddenly due to a vehicular accident on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Schuylkill County.  Born January 13, 1966, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James R. Kates and the late Linda (Schlier) Kates.  She was the wife of Ronald S. Gould with whom she shared 11 years of marriage this July 20, 2024.

Lora was a 1984 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School, and was last employed as a waitress at The Mason Jar Family Diner, Andreas.  She was a member of Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton, where she took a special interest in the leadership role for the children's ministry at the church.  Lora, along with her husband Ron, were very active members of the Bikers for Christ, Pocono Chapter.

Survivors: Husband, Ron.  Daughter, Heather N. Mase (Frank II) of Lehighton.  Sons, Alex S. Gould and Philip J. Gould, both of Lehighton. Sisters, Natalie A. wife of Robert Koch of Bethlehem, Pamela L. Kates and companion Allen Berger of Lehighton, and Valarie wife of Larry Miller of Lehighton.  3 grandchildren Hailey, Alyson, and Noah.  She was predeceased by her stepson, Cory Gould in November 2019.

Services: Memorial Service, 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Blue Mountain Community Church, 25 Oak Street, Palmerton, PA 18071. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., prior to services in the church.  Interment will be private.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
