Lorie J. Bollinger

Lorie J. (Sittler) Bollinger , 66, of Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, died peacefully Saturday morning, July 20, 2024, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Bethlehem.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. Sittler, and Mrs. Pearl A. (Mertz) Sittler of Palmerton.

Lorie was employed as an LPN by the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., Phoebe Nursing and Rehab. Center, Allentown, Country Meadows Nursing and Rehab. Center, Bethlehem, and the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehab. Center, Lehighton.  She was a 1976 graduate of the Palmerton High School, later graduating from CC-VoTech, Jim Thorpe.  Lorie enjoyed gardening, caring for animals and volunteering at the Palmerton Library.

Survivors: Daughters, Angie wife of Brad Ahner of Lehighton, Sarah wife of Jeremiah Herchelroth of W. Lawn, Reading, Berks County, Elizabeth J. wife of Andrew Robinson, and Katherine Bollinger, all of Palmerton.  Son, Billy O. Williams of PA.  11 grandchildren.  10 great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Carol wife of Greg Brenstuhl of Medina, OH, Val wife of Bruce Fedor of Palmerton, and MaryBeth Sittler of PA.  Aunt, uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by daughter, AmyBeth Hollenbach in 2023.
