Lorraine F. Bryfogle

Lorraine F. (Mattern) Bryfogle , 90, of Lehigh Street, Lehighton, Franklin Twp, died peacefully late Thursday evening, June 27, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton. She was the wife of William C. Bryfogle since August 21, 1971. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy L.A.(Arner) Mattern.

Lorraine was co-owner/operator of the former New Age Shop, Allentown, for 12 years. Later, she operated the Book Rack Store, Allentown, for 30 years, along with the former Gem and Minerals Shop in regional Malls throughout the area. Lorraine was also a self employed beautician at her residence in Franklin Twp for many years.

Survivors : husband. daughter, Donna L. Holt in Mexico. son, Daniel D. and wife Mary Ann Croll of Walnutport. stepson, Troy and wife Melissa Bryfogle of Palmerton. 6 grandchildren. 10 great grandchildren. sisters, Rita wife of George Lovelace of Whitehall, Mary Lovelace of Emmaus, and Shirley of Allentown. brothers, John Farber of Allentown, Joseph Farber. several nieces and nephews.
