Lorraine M. Karc

Lorraine M. Karc , 90 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Allentown, PA. Born February 25, 1933 in Cementon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jospeh Cruz and the late Catherine (Zets) Cruz. Lorraine was the wife of Stanley Karc, with whom she shared 68 years of loving marriage.

She started her working career at D&D Sewing factory. There Lorraine manufactured shirts, specifically collars for a few years before retiring to become a fulltime mother and homemaker. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church.  Lorraine always cherished her family vacations in St. Augustine FL, and in her free time she loved to play BINGO!

Surviving : along with her husband, sons, Stanley Karc and wife Nancy of Bath, PA, Mark Karc and wife Bonnie of Berwick, PA and Anthony Karc and companion Rosalia of Northampton, PA, daughter, Kathleen Janny and husband Stephen of Nazareth, PA. grandsons, Christopher, Jonathan, Patrick and Timothy Karc, great-grandsons Lincoln, Owen, Oliver, and Peter Karc. She was predeceased by son, Joseph Karc.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on  Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA, 18067, with Pastor Rachel Ziese Hacker officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM up until the time of service. Interment will follow service at Assumption of the B.V.M. Cemetery- Mausoleum, Northampton, PA.
