Louise Marie Dennis

Louise Marie Dennis, 83 of Allentown, PA. passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall, PA. Born August 16, 1937 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Patrick and the late Margaret (Geiger) Patrick. She was the wife of Howard L. Dennis, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage last June 14, 2020.

Louise was a graduate of Allen High School who went on to be an Administrative Assistant for the Masonic Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown for over 30 years before retiring in 2010. Louise was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, Allentown.

Surviving along with her husband Howard are sons, Thomas P. Dennis, Sr. of Chambersburg, PA and Peter W. Dennis of Allentown, PA; 3 Grand-children; Jennifer Swank of Rohkon Koma, NY, Thomas P. Dennis, Jr. of Shippensburg, PA, and Matthew Dennis of Chambersburg, PA. 3 Great - Grandsons; Everett, Reid, Renton, a cousin, Connie Reinert of Allentown. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Ruth.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday March 18, 2021at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church, 801 N. 11th Street Allentown, PA, 18102 with the Rev. Msgr. Victor F. Finelli officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the Mass in the Church. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. The public is reminded to continue to follow social distancing guidelines, including the wearing of facial coverings.
