Louise S. Nederostek

Louise S. Nederostek, 85 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton, PA. Born September 17, 1936, in Lockport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Surike and the late Susan (Elofsky) Surike. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Nederostek who passed away in 1984.

Louise worked as a Layout Operator for the former AT&T, Allentown, PA for 31 years before retiring in 1984. After retiring, she continued to work part time as a organizational specialist for Daytimers, Allentown, PA, Receptionist for HR Block, Allentown. She waitressed at the Barnhouse Village and Restaurant, Bath, PA and for Muhlenberg College Special events. She was also a Census Taker for Northampton CO, and she worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal service, delivering for the city of Bethlehem.

She is survived by her son, Michael J. Nederostek of Walnutport, PA, sisters, Caroline Hudock of Hanover Twsp., PA, , Paula wife of Raymond Majczan of Greenville, SC and Patricia Grube of Hanover Twsp., PA. Grandson; Cody, Granddaughter; Kitrina, and 2 nieces.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday May 18, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park- Mausoleum, Allentown, PA.
