Lovey (Kochmaruk) Strohl, 70, of Lower Smith Gap Road, Little Gap, Lower Towamensing Twp, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 2016, in her home. She was the wife of the late Howard E. Strohl who passed in 2007. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Steve II and Stella (Opolonick) Kochmaruk.
A licensed beautician, she owned and operated Lovey''s Beauty Shop, Little Gap, for many years, until retiring in 2014. She attended the former St. George''s Russion Orthodox Church, Palmerton. Lovey was a 1963 graduate of the former Slatington High School, and later graduated from Empire Beauty School, Whitehall.
Survivors: daughters, Tonya R. wife of Robert Stockman of Tannersville; Tashya R. Lloyd of Little Gap. Son, Theodore E. and wife Deborah of Saltington. 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchilden. Brothers, Theodore and wife Kay of Havelock, NC; Frederick Sr. and wife JoAnn of Walnutport; Steve III and wife Marlene of Slatington. Nieces and nephews.
