Lydia Siegfried Williams, 82 of Nazareth, took her last breath and entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2016, at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem surrounded by her children.

Born April 2, 1934 in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Augusta (Yeska) Drovich; wife of her high school sweetheart, the late Donald D. Siegfried and later in life, the late Roy E. Williams.

In 1952 she graduated from Nazareth High School and was a 1955 graduate of The Berean Bible School, Allentown with a Diploma in Missionary Studies. Lydia was the co-owner of Henry Yeska and Son, Inc. in Lower Nazareth Township where she worked for 56 years.

As matriarch, Lydia's whole existence revolved around her family and helping all succeed in school, life and business. She was a generous and loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by sons, Donald D. and wife Yvonne Siegfried of Saylorsburg , Timothy J. and wife Corina Siegfried of Orefield, daughter, Lydia A. Golas of Nazareth, grandchildren Rachel, Kaitlyn, Nichole, Lauren, Alexander, Aaron, Benjamin and Calen and nephew, Ronald and his wife Valerie Silfies and niece, Tracy and her husband Curtis Markulics, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was predeceased by her step-father, Harold E. Rice and her sister, Priscilla A. Silfies.

Lydia loved to travel, especially when the journey led to one of her grandchildren who now reside in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts and Ohio. She was an avid reader, loved to work in her garden, and hunt for antiques. She was an active member in her churches, Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Nazareth and The First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service on Friday October 14, 2016, at The First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center Street, Bethlehem.

Private interment will be at Hope Cemetery, Lower Nazareth Township.

Lydia was generous and loving especially when it came to children, therefore, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kid's Peace in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.

The family is grateful to, and thanks, the doctors, nurses, aides and staff, especially Daisy, Khan and Anthony, of Kirkland Village for their compassion, assistance, love and understanding. Their collective efforts made the last few months of her life comfortable and peaceful.
