Mae E. Lockard

Mae E. (Sheckler) Lockard , 83, of Lincoln Avenue, Bowmanstown, PA, died peacefully Saturday morning, October 15, 2022, in her home.  She was the wife of the late Donald G. Lockard who passed in 2011.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Leah (Frey) Sheckler.

Mae was employed as button seamstress by the former Bowmanstown Garment Mill.  She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. and Faith Alive United Methodist Church, Palmerton.

Survivors: Daughter, Regina L. Lockard of Bowmanstown.  Son, Chester D. Lockard of Bowmanstown.  Sister, Lucille wife of Larry Smith of Trachsville.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a grandson, and brother, Robert Sheckler.
