Mae M. Warmkessel

Mae M. Warmkessel, 92, formerly of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December, 24, at her residence at the Phoebe Home in Allentown, PA.

Born May 13, 1927, in Whitehall, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Minnie (Stuber) Cogossi.  She was the wife of the late Nelson L. Warmkessel who passed away in 1983.

Mae was a practicing Baptist and was a member of the former Grace Baptist Church, Whitehall, PA.

Mae worked for the Allentown Hospital as a housekeeper until her retirement in 1989.

Surviving are children, Carol Snyder of Palmerton, PA, Dana Warmkessel and wife Rose of Whitehall, PA,  Renee Moser wife of Aral of Zion Grove, PA, and Anita Brown wife of Eugene of Schnecksville, PA; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband Nelson, Mae was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Schisler Funeral Home, located at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067.  Friends may call from 1-2 PM at the funeral home prior to the services.  Burial at Allen Union Cemetery will follow the services.

Memorial contributions in Mae's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
