Makenzie L. Lashefsky

Makenzie L. Lashefsky , 25, of Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died suddenly and unexpectedly, Thursday evening, July 27, 2023, at her home after losing her battle with addiction.  Born in Hazleton, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of Joseph J. Lashefsky of Danielsville, and Sherry M. (Berger) Walz with whom she resided.

Makenzie was employed as a home care aide for First Step Safety, LLC, Scranton.  She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.  Makenzie loved books and greatly enjoyed reading, painting, coloring, drawing, and journaling.  She was a 2016 graduate of the Palmerton High School.

Survivors: Parents. Sister, Harley J. Walz at home.  Paternal grandmother, Mrs. Constance (Marash) Rayno of Danielsville.  Maternal grandfather, Clark R. Berger, Sr. of Palmerton.  Stepfather, Terry S. Walz with whom she resided.  Stepmother, Jennifer N. (Stauffer) Lashefsky of Danielsville.  Aunt, Donna wife of Randy Roth of Saylorsburg.  Uncles, Clark R.Berger, Jr. and wife Lorraine of Palmerton, Brian Berger and wife Beth of NC, and Timothy Berger and wife Carol of Tamaqua.

Services: Public Calling, 6:00-8:00PM., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Private Interment.
