Mar L. Costenbader

Mar L. Costenbader, 81, of Little Gap Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, PA, died peacefully Tuesday evening, October 27, 2026, in his home. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Zellner) Costenbader.

Mar was employed as a lineman for the PPL Electric Utilities Corp., Allentown, for over 40 years. He was also owner/operator of the Roth House Bed and Breakfast, Little Gap. Mar attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Palmerton. He throughly enjoyed Scouting, and was a former Boy Scout Leader of Troop #42, Palmerton, and a 1962 graduate of the Palmerton High School.

Survivors: Daughter, Marnie T. wife of Steven Kuhns of Kunkletown. Son, Chad L. of Lower Towamensing Twp. 2 grandchildren, Abigail and Connor. Fiancee, Jane Fisher of Palmerton. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, John.
