Margaret Cameron

Margaret (Haig) Cameron , 86, of 2nd Street, Auburn, Schuylkill County, PA, died Tuesday evening, March 26, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late William F. Cameron, Sr., who passed in 2015.  Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Josephine Haig.

Margaret was employed by Thermometer Corp., Philadelphia.  She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Philadelphia.  Margaret enjoyed bingo, scrabble, online games of chance, and spending time with her family, and caring for her dogs.

Survivors: Son, William F., Jr. of Auburn. Daughters, Kathleen M. wife of Larry Fairchild of Lehighton, and Theresa Kennedy of Philadelphia. Son, Charles J. and wife Tara Cameron of Philadelphia. 7 grandchildren, James III, Krista, Patrick, Brittney, Alyssa, Kayla, and Ashlee.  5 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Raelyn, Kinsley, Kylie, Jamison and 1 baby boy on the way. She was predeceased by sister, Isabelle, brothers, George, John, Billy, Reds, and foster mother, Martha Fals.

Services: Memorial Services, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024, Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Private Interment.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
