Margaret J. Hill

M. Julie (Holdaway) Hill, 82, of Belleview Drive, Fullerton, Whitehall Twp, died peacefully early Monday morning, May 18, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of the late Bruce M. Hill who passed last December. Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Elsie (Edmonds) Holdaway.

Julie was employed as a bookkeeper for Gardner Law Office in Bethlehem for more than 20 years, retiring in Oct of 2025. She was an avid tennis player throughout her life and also enjoyed tap dancing and spending time with her Red Hats Ladies Group. She balanced her sense of adventure with her love of the beach, relaxing, swimming and waving down the ice cream guy, who knew her as "the Lolly Lady".

She had a deep appreciation for poetry and songs with meaningful messages and took great joy in sharing her favorite versus and lyrics with those she loved.

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.

You get your fill but always keep that hunger.

May you never take one single breath for granted.

God forbid love ever leave you empty handed.

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean.

Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens.

Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance.

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance.
